Recent Professional History: June, 2008 - Fluid Dynamics TD I was brought in near the end of this contract to find a way of using RealFlow and Maya Fluids to produce smoke effects for a series of high-profile billboard and magazine advertisements. The finished work needed to be realistic and the turnaround was very tight. May-June, 2008 - 3D Generalist Working on cut scenes and intros for Motor Storm II. This involved a range of tasks; including cloth simulation, complex nurbs modeling and procedural texturing. March-April, 2008 - Generalist TD One of two senior artists producing high end 3d assets for an in-house video between two major consumer goods companies. Responsible for a very wide range of tasks, including dynamic simulations, camera tracking, HDR lighting, compositing, and technical development. October, 2007 - 3D Consultant Consulting on the integration of 3D into the production pipeline of a major Soho advertising and print media studio. October, 2007 - Motion Tracker Producing camera tracking solutions of HD green-screen footage in Boujou for the BBC TV series "Who Do You Think You Are?" I was responsible for assembling a unit, filming, and generating 3D elements to composite into live footage. I was responsible for all aspects of the animation components; from modeling and lighting, through to compositing with live footage.
